This week on Heads Up with Remko, one of the UK's finest professionals of the last three years joins the show in what turned out to be quite the eye-opening conversation.
Charlie Carrel has nearly $6 million in live tournament earnings and his online results include a Sunday Million and SCOOP Main Event win. The latter which he took down for $1.2 million at a Starbucks in Mexico after a serious internet outage at this apartment. And yes, he tells this story in full on the podcast.
Additionally, Carrel talks about what makes him successful at the game, and he opens up about his unconventional style and how GTO isn't the only road to success. Carrel sides with Bryn Kenney on what he thinks will bring him the most success, in a discussion that was started two weeks ago on the podcast with Kenney.
The colorful character of Carrel shines through in the conversation, as the young Brit opens up about unconventional topics including experimenting with different kinds of drugs, and the perception of success and money outside the poker world.

For the better part of a decade, 27-year old Germany's Dominik Nitsche has been among the world's best tournament players.
Let that sink in.
Just barely 18 years old back in 2009, Nitsche won a huge Latin American Poker Tour event followed by his first World Series of Poker bracelet and World Poker Tour title at age 21.
On this week's Head Up with Remko Podcast, Nitsche talks in-depth about his rise to the top, and his dedication to stay there.
With $7 million in live tournament earnings Nitsche is near the top of Germany's all-time money list, and he explains how studying the game, learning how to use solvers and using a GTO approach has helped him to stay ahead of the curve.
If you want to get caught up with what the Germans are up to these days, and how they perceive the rest of the high roller scene, well then you can't miss this podcast. Lastly, find out why Nitsche thinks that everyone in the high roller events across the world will play "like robots" as early as 2019.

There's no doubt about 2017 being the year of Bryn Kenney. The New York native leads in nearly every statistical category and is making a run at becoming the all-time money earner without a cash larger than $2,000,000, which has not been done before in the modern history of the game.
On this podcast Kenney opens up about making some bad decisions that lead him to being broke in late 2016, and the spectacular way in which he managed to turn things around.
Starting in November of 2016, Kenney went on a run of a lifetime of which the end doesn't seem to be in sight just yet. In the last 12 months Kenney has cashed for $8.7 million, $7.3 of which was recorded in this calendar year.
Kenney also leads the 2017 POY standings, and overall GPI standings, and with still nearly three months of poker left to be played it looks as though he has both of those places locked up.
